Constitution

Passed by a referendum on 14 March 1993, the Constitution was drawn up by a commission formed of three delegations, one from the General Council, one from the Spanish Co-Prince and one from the French Co-Prince. It has seven articles organised into nine broad fields or sections, which deal with the Sovereignty of Andorra (I), Rights and freedoms (II), the Co-Princes (III), the General Council (IV), the Government (V), the Territorial structure (VI), Justice (VII), the Constitutional Court (VIII) and Constitutional Reform (IX).
